Terms of Service

The agreement between your organisation and us for using Vantiqo.

Last updated 13 October 2026

1. The service

  • Vantiqo is a cloud operations service provided by Brainkin Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 202601041233 (1703328-D)) ("we", "us"). It inventories, monitors and helps operate the cloud accounts (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, Linode, Vultr, Hetzner), servers, websites and related services you connect to it ("your estate").
  • These terms apply to your organisation ("you") and to everyone you give access to your workspace. By creating a workspace or using the service you accept them on your organisation's behalf, and confirm you're authorised to do so.

2. Your workspace and users

  • You keep sign-in details secret, protect administrator accounts with two-factor sign-in (an authenticator app or a passkey), and tell us without delay about any unauthorised use.
  • You decide who has access and with which role and account limits, and you're responsible for what your users, API tokens and automation rules do in your workspace.

3. Access to your estate

You choose what to connect and grant the access. For AWS, Vantiqo works inside the VantiqoBoundary guardrail you control; for other clouds, with the tokens you provide (read-only unless you choose otherwise).

Actions Vantiqo takes in your estate — starting or stopping servers, one-click fixes, runbooks, installing the server agent, applying permission updates — are taken on your instruction: by your users, your settings (including automatic rules and rollouts you or, where you have agreed to it, your service provider switch on) or your approvals. Changes that can be reviewed first go through Approvals when you turn them on.

The server agent you install reports health information only and changes nothing on the server, except updating itself and, while someone watches a server live, sampling it more often.

4. Acceptable use

Your use must follow the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms.

5. Plans, fees and payment

  • Your plan sets the features, limits, included usage and prices (including per-unit prices such as per server or per server-hour, minimum monthly charges and free trials), as shown in your workspace (Settings → Workspace & plan).
  • Upgrades apply immediately and the monthly fee is split by days between the plans; downgrades apply from the first day of the next month if your usage fits the new plan. A free trial ends on its stated date or when you choose a paid plan; what happens then is shown in your workspace.
  • Fees are invoiced monthly in arrears and are due within the period stated on the invoice. Card payments and invoices are handled by our payment provider. If an invoice stays unpaid after the grace period stated on it, we may suspend the workspace until it's paid; your data is kept during suspension.
  • If a partner (a reseller or managed-service provider) manages your workspace, the partner bills you under its own agreement with you, and we bill the partner.

6. Your data

  • You own your data. We process it only to provide, secure and support the service, as described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement, which are part of these terms. You can export it at any time (Settings → Workspace & plan → Export your data).
  • Where your workspace's data is kept (its data region) is chosen when the workspace is created and can be changed on request.

7. Availability and support

Our service levels and support channels are described in Service Levels & Support. Our staff and your partner (if any) access your workspace only through time-limited support access that you can see, and end, in your workspace.

8. AI assistant

Ask Vantiqo answers questions about your estate using a large language model provided by Anthropic. Answers can be wrong: check them before acting. Your questions and the estate information needed to answer them are sent to Anthropic to produce the answer and aren't used to train models. Workspace administrators can switch the assistant off.

9. Liability

  • The service helps you operate your estate; you remain responsible for your estate, its backups and its configuration, and for reviewing changes before approving them.
  • To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of data that proper backups would have prevented. Nothing limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Suspension and ending the service

  • You can stop at any time. We may suspend or end the service for non-payment (see 5), for a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy, or for a material breach of these terms not remedied within 14 days of notice.
  • When the service ends you can export your data for 30 days; then the workspace and its encryption key are deleted, which makes any remaining copies (including backups, which expire within about 35 days) unreadable.

11. Changes and general

  • We may update these terms; material changes are announced to workspace administrators 30 days before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that accepts them.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable the rest remains in force. Questions: Support in your Vantiqo workspace (or the platform console).
